Why did the German judges rob Matthew Macklin?

Macklin dominated this fight even with a couple close rounds vs Sturm. Lennox Lewis, Dan Rapheal, and the other epix announcers also had him winning this fight. Why does Germany always love robbing fighters who bust their asses for a living?
