Have you ever used martial arts on the street?

Only once. Me and my girlfriend were walking home when this younger kids who looked 15,16 starting shouting stuff at my girlfriend so I told them to f off. One of them grabbed my shirt so I simply sent a punch into his neck. I do Wing chun Kung fu but I didn't really use it in that situation
