Why is my dog so scared of me?

I have two dogs. One is a pure bread labrador retriever, Sadie. And the other is a beagle/terrier mix, Toby. They are both the cutest things and mean the world to me. Sadie loves me, shes so happy and always brings me a ball to throw with her. Toby is a big digger. He loves to hunt and dig. I always give them plenty of attention and love, I don't know what I would do without them. For punishment of things they do I take my pointer finger and tap them on thier nose. I got that from a dog magazine once. So why is Toby so afraid of me. We did get him from a shelter. He was left on someones porch when he was only 2 weeks old. Could he of been abused when he was little and now doesn't trust men? But yet he's not like this to my dad. He is to my brother because my brother will hit him when he does something wrong, and I always yell at him for that.

about 2 1/2 weeks ago i did a root scaling treatment( i think that's what its called when you seriously want to gouge the woman's eyes out with her sharp hook) and now my gums are inflamed they've started to bleed. i dont usually floss on a regular basis but ive never had problems before even the devils advocate said my gums and teeth were perfect. now should i demand a refund or should i just up my oral hygiene routine and hope it goes away?

On my school bus there is a group of kids who are loud and generally jokers. They always use profanity, make fun of people, and are all around annoying to be around. There's one boy in particular who's the ringleader. He's the worst of the lot, about three or four boys in all. Normally it's easy to ignore them, but today the leader was talking about specific teachers that he hates and would want to kill. He also named kids on the bus that he would kill and the order he would kill them in. I don't really think I should take this guy seriously, because one of his "victims" was a member of his group (he said, "Next I'll kill you, because you would stop me from killing anyone else."), and because he was kind of laughing when he said it. He's a freshman and I'm a sophomore, and we've never spoken before, but I listen to this kid every single day and it's starting to become a little unbearable. He even said he would gouge out a girl's eyes because she stared and he'd kill one quiet boy because he never talked! I don't really think he would do anything, but it was very disturbing and kind of scary to hear him say those kind of things. Should I report him anonymously, or should I just let it go? If something were to happen at all, and I didn't report him, I would never forgive myself. I don't want to seem like a goody two-shoes or anything, but with Columbine and VA Tech and so many other tragedies like that, I really don't want to risk it.

Ohhh I so love your question!!!! It's simple really. They have no self control, which is what the Bible instructs Christians must develop. Far better for them to stand around & demand that offensive material be removed than to develop the ability to do what that verse instructs them to do in a literal sense. Whatever it is in a Christians life that is causing them to sin is to be avoided, thrown away, put aside, and it is to be done by that person's hands & mind. It's far much more fun to them to continue doing their dirty deeds behind closed doors & just expect everyone else in society to change their lives so they don't really have to.

If you are tired you are tired, someone has got to make a change for the better, and maybe it will be you, when your parents are old they may be to old and sick to move from place to place and no housing, education, you will be able to provide a place or shelter for them. As I stated someone has to think differently for the family to survive and have homes etc, education, health insurance. So good luck, you can do it, they may complain but when they see you doing okay they will be proud of you, you can show the younger generation that things are different and what you need to survive you can keep your cultural values at least some of them food, clothing etc.

Who controls the gasoline controls.... well in the 1940's people where still driving horse and buggies and wagons. If you're talking about street rules, you should know that these weapons are only used when you are very close, at least one foot away from your opponent. The longest range tool is probably the throat strike. This technique could be used as an entry into closer range. Once in close, it's a matter of feeling the other person's body and knowing how it will react. This relies on natural body mechanics. If you knee, chances are the upper body bends forward. That should pave the way for headbutts, elbows and gouges. Sometimes you are in close and you may gouge first to create that initial reaction and follow with headbutts. I don't know if you can, or have health insurance, but it really sounds like it would be good for you to talk to a counselor about some of the anger issues you have before you harm yourself or someone else. When I was a teenager I had major anger issues, and I still do but being a teenager is extremely difficult with all the emotions you go through, and other kids being @ssholes and whatnot, relationships, parents, etc. I know it sounds ridiculous telling you to go to a counselor, because you probably won't. But, it seriously sounds like you have some stressful stuff going on, with your mother, and your anger and emotions. No one can sit here and diagnose you because we aren't doctors. If I were you though, I'd ask one of your parents if you could maybe see a counselor for stress. Or even go to the school counselor. Sounds crazy I know, but it might help, and someone else might be able to help. I can't give you a reason for why you act the way you do. Also-yes the repetitive hand washing could border on obsessive compulsive disorder. The paranoid thoughts aren't healthy either, it would be helpful for you to seek a psychiatrist-and psychologist . I have been in common law marriage with my husband for almost 19 years. We have 4 boys together. Our relationship has been rocky since the beginning. That was the most traumatic experience of my life because i knew i was a good wife and didn't deserve being treated with so much disrespect. After a month passed he went all the way to georgia to beg for me to come back. He swore up and down nothing happened between him and my aunt but just the thought of him insinuating himself to her made me sick to my stomach. Again i felt like i had to return with him cause my son need his house back and i was low on money cause when i lived with him he never let me work. I decided to give it another chance cause he told me he loved me and couldn't stand the idea of me and my son being gone. I was so young so i was very vulnerable to anything. My mother begged me to stay with her but i couldn't stand the idea of being a burden to her at age 21. Time passed and all was good at least that's what i thought. He had his own mechanic shop but i never knew how much money would come in or out. He thought that as long as he paid bills at home he could do whatever he wanted. He started drinking and having friends at shop every single day and started neglecting my son and me. This time i was 26 so i started building some courage and decided that i would no longer put up with his behavior. I started going out and doing my own thing. But one thing, i never stopped taking care of my son. He is my life. My husband started drinking non-stop and hanging with wrong crowd and he lost it all. After he lost it all non of his friends and family especially his mother who i consider a gold digger helped him out. He went to georgia and got help from my brothers and kind of got back on his feet. That's because he was deep into drinking and god knows what. Needless to say i was back here in texas living with parents and working so that i could finally get him out of my heart and pretty much start over but that was almost impossible cause my son missed him dearly and that was my weakness. He came back and looked for me and pretty much begged for me to go back with him but i wouldn't budge. We did end up together and he was actually changing and i got pregnant with 2nd child. We moved close to my mother and farther from his family that never helped him. They only get close to him when he is making money especially his mother. 6 years have passed since then and now we have a total of four boys. But now he is 40 and his family are back in the picture and he is starting to act shady again with money and with me. I've grown mentally ever since but now we have 4 boys that love him very much. My husband and i really don't spend any alone time and barely talk because he is overweight and as soon as he sits down he falls asleep. But he does have time for his family and i feel that i have done so much for him and i feel so unappreciated. I even helped him get his green card so that my kids would have their father around. But it seems that whatever i do for him his family receives all benefits except me. I would love to move on but now we have a mobile home that will be paid off soon but we have credit card debts and i and i'm afraid he won't pay since most of them are under my name. I want to keep my house for my kids of course but i don't know if i have the same rights living under common law marriage. I also suspect that he is talking to another woman but i really can't be for sure but the feeling is there. Let me make a long story short. I met my ex about a year ago, and immediately I knew he was the one for me. He was the first person to ever stick up for me, and make me feel like I mattered to someone. I could tell him anything and he'd never judge me. He was the first person I ever trusted, and i've had trust issues my whole life. Basically, he was THE ONE person I had been waiting for my whole life! After 9 months or so, we finally decided to move in together, and that was tough. I have overbearing parents, so of course, they weren't too pleased by that idea. Sadly to say, I didn't want to stay with him any more although I loved him, because he had a much lower income to what i'm used to and I was scared to live in the neighborhood he did. I know that sounds awful, but when your used to living in a upper middle class family your whole life, you can't help but react that way. Anyways, this is when it gets ugly. He introduced me to his friend, who fell completely head over heels inlove with me, and although I was attracted to him, I didn't love him the way I did my ex. Of course, this brought alot of conflict between all 3 of us, and my ex just stopped talking to us. I feel so bad, but at the same time my ex was a bit controlling while his friend was this calm sweet guy...so I thought. Plus, his friend had a good income. No, i'm not a gold digger ok? I'm suffering with chronic tension headaches. Constant pressure around my head and eyes. The only thing that seems to work, is Fioricet. Thing is, it contains 325mg in each tab. I've been taking it nearly everyday, for the past month. The most I've ever taken in one day, was 6 tabs. But that only happen twice. I usually try not to take more than two. There were a few days, I just didn't take any. Just because I was scared of the tylenol, and what it could possibly be doing to my liver. I don't want a damaged liver. But I don't wan't to live in misery either. I know fioricet can become addicting, and my neurologist gets this weird look on his face when I ask him to prescribe it, then gives me the lecture on how it has a dependency. I KNOW IT DOES! I'm not that low that I'd try to get off on pain meds, people don't understand. I'm losing my mind with these headaches. My eyes always feel battered, can't look left or right, without having my eyes gouged with pressure. Back of head feels like it's going to explode. I've already had 3 CT scans, MRI and a spinal tap. They can't tell me what's wrong, and it's really depressing. I just want my life back :(

My dog keeps getting infections in her ear and her feet the vet says its her food but i dont belive it is?

Ever since my dogs been like 4 months old shes gotten really bad ear infections and feet infections the vet sayd its a yeast infection the meds fixs it and it comes right back. Now shes two and its to the point where she eats her pads off her feet and limps and her ears are all black inside i changed vets and they said they thinks its a food alergy so she is on special food and alergy meds its been a month now and it doesnt change it goes and comes back like it has for two years. I dont no what to do i cant afford to keep taking her to the vet only to be told the same thing. I realy really belive its not a food allergy has anyone elses dog done this? She breaks out in bumps sometimes too, pukes on accasion, wont everrrr stop licking at her feet an biting them im constantly telling her to stop, her feet get really fat and red and swollen andup in the web of them gets black and pussiey, she eats her pads till there gone and bleeding, her chins red and she itches it everywhere, the folds of her mouth get the same yucky black stuff her feet and ears get, she licks at her vaginal and anal area constantly, she itches her ears so bad her hair goes behind her ear and gets bad gouges, her ears are red inflamed and have black stuff and she occasionally looses her fur on her back. im 5 foot 5 and 170 pounds and have been riding for 5 years. i am currently riding 09/10 ride ex bindings on a 08/09 K2 www which i have been using scince i started snowboarding. I love my www but its getting really beat up with gouges all over the bottom and top and all the edges are rusting more and more every year and that is whith a 2 tune ups a year. im looking for a new board, preferrably a park board that can hit every thing in the park from kickers to jibs and still be stable chrging groomers at high speeds.
